What a new day we have today. How was your night lovelies? I knew it was fine. So, like I promised yesterday, I am bringing you the continuation on the series LETTING GO but this is going to be a sub topic DON’T GIVE UP.

This topics may look in contrast to themselves but as we embark on this journey together, you are going to understand what it means.

The Bible says there is time for everything. A time to eat and a time to drink, a time to live and a time to die, a time to be asleep and a time to be awake. So also, there is a time to let go and a time to hold on (don’t give up).

I said earlier on that you’ve got to let go of the pains, grudges, malice, the wrong disposition, opinions that are holding you bound keeping you in one spot.

But today, I am telling you not to give up on that positive dreams of yours, don’t give up on yourself, don’t give up on God.

No matter how hard things may be, don’t think of giving up because you may be at the edge of your breakthrough. Remember, the darkest hour of the night is the hour before daybreak. God has a specific plan for you. You were not created a nonentity, you were not created as a matter i.e. (to have weight and occupy space). You were created with a purpose in mind to fulfil destiny. You may be from a poor background, you may have made destiny marring mistakes, your family may have given up on you, but it doesn’t matter so long you don’t give up on yourself.
According to Friedrich Neitsche “What doesn’t destroy, you makes you stronger. So have this faith that you will emerge stronger, don’t give up.

It doesn’t matter the opinion people have about you, just remember what really matters is the opinion God has about yourself. Dear brother and sister, if you were not important to God you won’t have been alive, your being alive is enough proof that God loves you and He has specific plans for you. Don’t let the devil deceive you into giving up on yourself, on life, or sinking into depression.

Remember, In A Thousand Matters, Only God Matters.

Are You Ready?

The "F" Word

Between my husband and me, although I take longer than him to get ready to go somewhere, I usually am ready before him. He has the tendency to start getting ready 5 mins prior to the time we have to leave. Are you ready? This is a question you will find me asking my husband quite often at times like these.

Being ready and prepared – I was reminded of the Parable of the ten virgins that we read in Mathew 25: 1-13, where Jesus warns about keeping watch and being ready for his return for the day and hour is unknown.

Mathew 25:1-13At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.  The…

Anywhere With Him

This is a lovely relationship. The sound of love in the Air.

Crushed Caramel (Learner at love)

anywhereMost of the time…it works this way:

Jack tries to get me to agree to change my plans. I do. He tells me he will pick me up at a certain time and asks me to be ready to jump in his car. I am. He drives us off to somewhere he has booked or borrowed for us. I don’t usually know where we are headed.

It doesn’t matter though. Frankly, it could be anywhere. I don’t care where. Just so long as I am with him. He’s exciting. He always was. But I love that he still is.

The past month or so has been different from all the months that preceded it. I’m on a whirlwind tour of the south east of England. Only I am not seeing all that much of the counties I am sleeping overnight in. We usually arrive in the dark. Sometimes we stretch…

I am celebrating my two weeks anniversary today and this won’t have been possible without you my WordPress family. Thanks for the tips, the follows, the likes, the comments and shares. I really appreciate you all and love you all. God will bless you richly indeed.

I may not be able to come here from time to time to make posts or follow because of my busy schedule but I do love and care about you all. You are the best.

For this reason, I would be making a post tomorrow with a special topic continuation don’t know what yet.

What does it mean to be unbridled? (James 1:26) It means to have no restraint or limit. The tongue is the smallest part of the body. In other words, an unbridled tongue is an untamed tongue. This tongue though being the smallest part of the body can set the full body on fire. It can set the whole house on fire. It brings destruction. Have you ever been hurt by one word or phrase said by people around you?

Do you know that the words that comes from your mouth either makes people around you or mar them. (James 3:2). Are the words coming out of your mouth edifying? Do they build lives?Or are they words that when people hear it, they feel like dying. So many people derive joy in laying curses on people at any given moment. It’s like a way of life.An unbridled tongue is very dangerous. It sets family apart, puts homes in disarray.

There is a girl Claire who always said anything she felt like without thinking of the impact it had on others. She abused people cursed them and called them names. Literally, her name became ‘Razor Tongue’ until a certain time when she was misfortune and someone replied her in her own usual way, she was very hurt. She realized her mistakes and learnt in a hard way.

How many of us would want to learn in a hard way? (1 Cor. 13:11). A wise man doesn’t speak because he has to say something, he speaks because he has something to say. The children of Israel were slain in the wilderness because they murmured against God. (Prov. 6:2,   Matt. 12:36-37). Every wise man thinks before he speaks. He doesn’t talk too much. He doesn’t say irrelevant things. When you say irrelevant things, it shows you are empty. Even the Bible clarifies that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.  Fill your mind with the right things. Words are meant to be polite and edifying.

I do care

Letting go is not easy at all most especially when some people in your present seems to derive pleasure in digging into your past and smearing your present with it. But I want you to know this, don’t fight them because everyone have their own past some even have theirs living with them in their present.

You fell doesn’t mean you are finished or that you would remain on the floor, even the Bible says in the book of Proverbs 24:16,“For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.” You just have to rise up, dust yourself and go about fulfilling destiny. You must also know this, there is nothing that happens in life without God knowing it because He is the only one who knows the end from the beginning. He is the Master Planner. I call Him the Light in my tunnel.

There are some things you go through in life, some dark spots you see in life, you feel life is over with you, you even feel your case has been written off. No! I want to let you know that you don’t have to give up on yourself. You just have to grasp unto the light of God’s word according to the book of John 1:4-5, “In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” And Psalms 119:130, “The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.”

God let you make that mistake or take that step or even go through those experiences because He had a purpose for you. The devil may have meant it for evil just like Joseph’s brothers but in Genesis 50:20, like he told them, I am telling you today that those life experiences were the fire meant to bring out the treasure and gold in you. It is meant for you to impact lives.

So Let Go Of The Pain And Don’t Give Up On Yourself.

As simple as this topic may seem, this is one of the hardest step to take in life. But it is very essential for the positive growth and development of anyone. You may have been hurt in the past, shattered and battered but you don’t have to remain there, you have to dust yourself and move forward.

You have to let go of your past to be able to successfully move on. Your past may not be nice, that’s why it is past. It doesn’t matter who you were or what you have done in the past, these were all in the past. God who gave you the grace to turn away from them and repent, has also given you the grace to move on. Don’t let people make you feel inferior. Don’t let the devil cage you with past hurts or mistakes. They are all nailed to the cross of Jesus.

God Loves You. Precious Cares.
